What Almquist Farm Provides
A Spectacular Venue
When you book your wedding or event at Almquist Farm, you have exclusive access to our indoor Event Barn, Granary and outdoor spaces. We schedule only one event per day so you'll never have to share the space with other groups.
We provide tables and chairs for the ceremony and reception, and set them up according to your specific event plan. We will have both an indoor and outdoor reception area set up so there are no worries about weather.
Almquist Farm can seat up to 400 guests in our outdoor dining and ceremony spaces.
Our Rustic Wedding Barn can seat up to 340 guests. Wood tables and chairs are used to complement the rustic pine plank interior of the wedding barn. The barn also has a dance floor and we can add a stage if a band is your preferred entertainment.
A Private Wedding Party Retreat
The Granary is a 100 year old, 1800 square foot space reserved exclusively for the wedding party. A place to prepare for the day, and to relax between preparation, photos and wedding ceremony. It is equipped with central air, changing areas, private restroom, kitchen, lounge area, entertainment center and pool table.
Easy Flow From Indoor to Outdoor Reception Spaces
Plenty of space for guests to mingle freely and easily move between indoor and outdoor spaces, making the most of sunny afternoons, fresh summer breezes and beautiful sunsets.
Services From Outside Providers
Groups scheduling events at Almquist Farm are responsible for arranging their own outside service providers. In the case of catering, we require that you use one of our preferred catering partners -- their knowlege of our space helps to make for a smoother running event.
Linens & Table Settings
Because of the unique colors and themes for each event, each party is responsible for providing their own linens and table settings. Please contact your caterer or rental company about rental and set-up / tear-down options.
Many groups will choose to forego formal table cloths because of our attractive wood tables and the rustic ambience of barn and outdoor weddings. Decorative table runners and centerpieces can be good alternatives.
Our Rustic Wedding Barn provides a staging area for caterers that includes counter space, electricity and a sink for clean up. We do not have a commercial kitchen, stove, oven, or refrigerators.
Each party is responsible for hiring a caterer from our list of approved caterers. Arrange with the caterer for serving crew, and for arranging removal of linens, dishware and decorations.
Flowers / Decorating
Elegant chandeliers and softly draped fabrics lend charm to our Rustic Wedding Barn, and romatic strings of lights illuminate the outdoor patio, bar and dining space.
Our grounds and buildings are large. Accent decorations work well without becoming an overwhelming task. We have a selection of antique farm containers such as milk cans, galvanized tubs, and waterers you are welcome to use in your decorating plan.
