Rustic Dream Venue

I was incredibly fortunate to photograph the first wedding at Almquist Farm and I am confident that it is destined to become one of the most sought after wedding venues in the Twin Cities.  As a wedding photographer that has seen her share of venues over the years I can say without a doubt that if you value service and a quintessential country setting this is the place for you!

To me there is a distinct difference in a business that is family owned, and nothing is more personal than creating and sharing an experience that has been a part of a family for five generations. This is exactly what the Curtis family has done. Their hearts are evident in the work they have put into their farm, and the relationships they cultivate with their clients and vendors are second to none. It doesn’t take but a moment for you to feel like you are part of the family too.  While I always get a lump in my throat at weddings (it’s a job hazard!) this venue literally brought tears to my eyes. 

Couple all of this with a barn, rolling hills, white fences, and a grassy path that leads to a ceremony site under century old oak trees and you have a photographer’s dream. I have no doubt that it’s destined to be many a bride’s dream come true as well!
